“Special days in the life of the church often allow us to focus our worship, celebrations and fellowship around moments that are central to our faith.”
Disciples Mission Fund Special Day Offerings provide an opportunity to highlight specific ministries as part of our faith celebrations. There are four Disciples Mission Fund Special Day Offerings received each year during Easter, Pentecost, Thanksgiving, and Christmas seasons. In addition, there are two special recognition offering days designated for Week of Compassion (February) and Reconciliation Ministry (September). Congregations can receive these offerings during worship or budget for a special gift, and individuals can always designate their gift to DMF for any of (these).

In addition to DMF offerings, the Northern Lights Region holds an Annual Fund Campaign each year as an emphasis of the important and meaningful ways the Annual Fund (our working funds in the Region) support ministries, congregations, and clergy.

DMF Pentecost Special Offering 2026 – For Times Such as These
On Pentecost, the Spirit did not stay in one place. It moved outward — across languages, cultures, and every barrier people believed separated them. In that moment, a new kind of community was born, shaped by courage, generosity, and love. That same Spirit is still moving today.

The Pentecost Offering helps support New Church Ministry and your Region to nurture emerging and affiliating faith communities. Through these ministries, new spaces are created where people can encounter God, build meaningful relationships, and serve their neighbors with compassion.
