“Special days in the life of the church often allow us to focus our worship, celebrations and fellowship around moments that are central to our faith.”
Disciples Mission Fund Special Day Offerings provide an opportunity to highlight specific ministries as part of our faith celebrations. There are four Disciples Mission Fund Special Day Offerings received each year during Easter, Pentecost, Thanksgiving, and Christmas seasons. In addition, there are two special recognition offering days designated for Week of Compassion (February) and Reconciliation Ministry (September). Congregations can receive these offerings during worship or budget for a special gift, and individuals can always designate their gift to DMF for any of (these).

In addition to DMF offerings, the Northern Lights Region holds an Annual Fund Campaign each year as an emphasis of the important and meaningful ways the Annual Fund (our working funds in the Region) support ministries, congregations, and clergy.

Week of Compassion Special Offering 2026 – A NEW WAY
When he returned to Capernaum after some days, it was reported that he was at home. So many gathered around that there was no longer room for them, not even in front of the door, and he was speaking the word to them. Then some people came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. And when they could not bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and after having dug through it, they let down the mat on which the paralytic lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Child, your sins are forgiven." (Mark 2:1-5)
